A monument dedicated to the aircrew who flew in the Battle of Britain, set in 3 different parts – The Memorial, The Wing and The Wall.

The dream of Wing Commander Geoffrey Page was realised when the National Memorial was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother on July 9, 1993, at Capel le Ferne. There had previously been no memorial to the aircrew who had flown in Fight Command in 1940.
