The Hythe Imperial Hotel is one of Kent’s most popular wedding venues, located right on the Kent coast. We have hosted many Kent weddings, but it is not only our superb location that attracts our wedding parties; in fact, many come to us because of the versatility and flexibility of our spaces as well as our ability to deliver the wedding that is just right for you.
Here at the Hythe Imperial Hotel, you could do something a bit different and exchange vows in our spectacular gazebo nestled in the heart of our beautiful, landscaped gardens. If grand gestures are what you are after, you could make a real statement in The Imperial Ballroom – with its high ceilings, elegant and opulent feel, and uninterrupted view of the sea from our sundecks. Or perhaps opt for another of our beautiful ceremony rooms, such as our sumptuous Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar.
We always advise our couples to start by reviewing the packages we offer – with a package as its foundation, you will ensure that all the components of a successful wedding are considered and planned, and that all the fundamentals of your wedding will be covered.
Our Hythe, Seabrook and Imperial wedding packages in Kent vary slightly in terms of cost and minimum guest numbers, but all include a red carpet and prosecco arrival, three-course wedding breakfast, evening buffet and half a bottle of wine per person. There are many additional features provided in all three wedding packages so it is worth taking some time to read them and consider your ‘must-haves’ and your ‘nice to haves’– this will make it far easier to establish the right package for you based on your initial requirements and budget.

If you are looking for something a bit different, then why not consider our Gazebo Wedding Package? Based on a minimum of 60 guests and priced from £8,400, this option will enable you to say “I do” within the beautiful setting of our enchanted gardens.
We also offer some wonderful packages for couples looking to tie the knot in December, as well as those who are not averse to getting married on a Sunday. Sunday weddings are certainly worth considering, particularly if budget is an issue, as accommodation rates are lower than they would be for Saturday weddings – and our Sunday Wedding Package includes a generous eight complimentary rooms for your guests.
As we have hosted so many weddings at the Hythe Imperial Hotel, we have years of experience and understand better than anyone that no two weddings or sets of family and friends are the same. You might want to fly off somewhere fabulous and get married abroad but also need to arrange a celebration with friends and family on your return; for this we have created our evenings only Home and Away Wedding Package which includes everything you could want for such an event. With this package, instead of a traditional Wedding Breakfast, guests will be offered a finger buffet; this really helps to keep the costs down considering you will have two separate events to plan and fund!
Our Home and Away option is based on 70 guests and is priced from £2,250.
We have also created a Twilight Wedding Package, which is based on 60 guests attending and is priced from £4,050. There is something very romantic about a sunset, and a twilight wedding captures that moment perfectly. Starting with an evening ceremony around 5pm, you will have a wedding to remember and endless photographic opportunities. The Twilight Wedding Package includes a glass of prosecco and canapés on arrival, a hot fork buffet and prosecco for the toasts.
