As a bride, you’ll want to feel your very best on your wedding day – inside and out. We see hundreds of brides with fabulous wedding hair and makeup here at The Hythe Imperial Hotel. Our recommended Hair Stylist is Megan from Blowdrys Kent – she offers wonderful service and really commits to giving our brides exactly what they want.
Over the years, we see wedding hair trends come back around and we have collated our top five wedding hair trends that show no sign of disappearing in 2022.
The Hollywood wave style takes brides back to the 50’s. The hair is curled and then brushed through to form a retro Jessica Rabbit look. An effortless classic look for any bride!
The Half-Up bridal hair style has been a classic contender for years, but we have seen this style become more and more relaxed recently. The style is loose enough to suit any bride’s style, whether that be full of curls or a sleek and straight. This style also allows for a range of hair accessories – think bejewelled clips and combs – and gives a perfect place for your veil, should you choose to have one.
However you part your natural hairline, styling it a different way can make for a dramatic new look! The 90’s middle parting is back with a bang – and we’re seeing this middle parting with beautifully curled bangs to frame the face on many of our beautiful brides.
This wedding hair style is set to become more popular! Braids or plaits are not often the first choice as a traditional plan can be fairly restrictive however, this year we have seen an abundance of loose boho braids for the bride and bridal party. Effortless and so pretty!
The classic bun or updo is a classic wedding hairstyle, which evolves over the years into something new for each wedding season. This year we have seen the classic sleek bun make a return, alongside the loose curled and boho up-do. Many of our brides opt for an up-do for the ease of not having any flyaway hair to worry about.
Whatever hair style you choose to have on your big day – you should look and feel beautiful. The team at The Hythe Imperial are happy to help you explore your options.
