We are delighted to welcome you to the Hythe Imperial Hotel for a wedding celebration. To make your visit as seamless and enjoyable as possible, we have compiled some helpful information about getting here, staying with us, dining, leisure facilities, and more.

Getting to Us

Our hotel is located at postcode CT21 6AE, and can be accessed via either Princes Parade or Twiss Road, depending on your point of arrival. For those using What3Words, our location is: outhouse.abandons.deals.

If you are travelling by train, the nearest stations are Sandling, Folkestone West, and Folkestone Central, all a short taxi ride from the hotel. While Uber services are currently unavailable in this area, there are several reliable local taxi companies. We recommend booking in advance, especially if you are not staying overnight, as demand can exceed availability. Please note that we are unable to provide transportation for guests, as we do not hold a Private Hire Vehicle license.

Staying with Us

We offer a variety of beautifully appointed rooms, and we advise booking early to avoid disappointment. Check-in is from 4pm, and we recommend reserving a room the night before the wedding if you would like access prior to the guaranteed check-in time of 5pm.

Dining and Drinks

The Hythe Imperial offers a range of dining and drinking experiences to suit every taste.

  • Windsor Lounge: Enjoy our daily Afternoon Tea in a stylish setting, or in the garden under the gazebos when the sun shines.

  • Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar: As the home of Kent’s only Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar, you can relax with a glass of world-renowned bubbly.

  • Coast Restaurant: Experience an unforgettable meal in our AA Rosette restaurant, with a seasonal à la carte menu created from fresh, local ingredients. Complement your dining experience with selections from our extensive wine list.

  • Martello Bar: For a more relaxed atmosphere, enjoy classic pub-style meals paired with your favourite pint.

Every meal and drink at the Hythe Imperial is designed to be a luxurious and memorable experience.

Spa & Leisure Facilities

Our Spa & Leisure facilities are complimentary for hotel residents. Whether you wish to enjoy a quick workout, a refreshing swim, or some relaxation in the jacuzzi, sauna, or steam room, our team will guide you to the facilities on the lower ground floor.

Spa treatments are available at an additional charge and should be booked in advance. Please note that the Spa & Leisure facilities are managed by 3D Leisure.

Changing Facilities

While we do not have a dedicated changing area, our public conveniences are spacious. The ladies’ rooms on the ground and first floors include full-length mirrors for your convenience.

Parking

Complimentary parking is available for all guests. Please notify the Reception Team upon arrival so we can direct you to suitable spaces.

Accessibility

The hotel is committed to welcoming all guests:

  • The main entrance has a ramp for wheelchair access.

  • All ceremony areas are accessible.

  • Two lifts provide access to the Imperial Ballroom on the first floor.

  • Two accessible toilets are available: one on the ground floor, and one adjacent to the Ballroom on the first floor.

  • A selection of fully accessible bedrooms with wet rooms is available; please request at the time of booking.

Lost Property

If you misplace any personal items during your visit, please notify the Reception Team as soon as possible. If you have already left the hotel, we will contact you if your item is located. Should we need to return your belongings via post, a postage and administration fee of £5 will apply.

Confetti

For safety and cleanliness, confetti is not permitted on hotel grounds or inside the building. If included as part of the wedding celebration, confetti will be thrown on the beach across the road.
