****** PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOTEL WILL REOPEN ON 4 JULY 2020 AT 10AM ******

Message from our Managing Director, Nick Gauntlett

Dear valued guests, wedding couples and friends of the Hythe Imperial Hotel,

Firstly, thank you very much for your support so far this year and past. The health, safety and wellbeing of our team members and guests have and will always be our number one priority.

We have closely been monitoring the unprecedented circumstances we have all recently found ourselves in and adhering to the government guidelines set out. It is considering this that we have made the decision to temporarily close the hotel following the directives given for everyone to stay at home and only venture out if necessary and to maintain a safe distance when in public.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I write this as I understand the impact and disappointment this will have on many of you but as a hotel, we believe this is the right step to take and will continue to monitor the situation and look to reopening as soon as we are given the go ahead.

Hotel Stays: For all bookings reserved between the 24th of March 2020 to 28 June 2020, our Reservations Team will be in touch to discuss your booking accordingly.

Weddings: Our Wedding Team will be in touch to move all dates affected by the hotel closure and government guidelines.

Tribute Events: Our Events Team will be in touch to advise which acts have been affected and postponed and where possible, the new date.

Our teams are working tirelessly to contact everyone with a booking, and I ask that you please be patient with us and that we will speak to you as soon as we can.

The Hythe Imperial Hotel has stood at the heart of Hythe and we see the community as our extended family, and it is in this vein that we will continue to support them with supplies and fresh produce whilst we can.

Even though our doors are closed, you can still get in touch with us via our social media channels and we will be updating our website as the situation unfolds. On behalf of the whole team here, we would like to once again thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Hythe Imperial Hotel as soon as is safe, practical and possible to do so.

Kind regards,

Nick Gauntlett
