Ben & Molly’s Wedding

The Hythe Imperial was the first venue in Kent we visited, and despite shopping around in the days that followed, no other venue ever came close to topping it. It was the gold standard. We left that day saying we could see ourselves get married there, and immediately rushed back the following day to hold our dream date for fear of missing out. It was the best decision we ever made.

The coastal location, the flow between each room – to the gardens, to the sea, to the sundecks, to the ballroom – and its premium feel, all made it the perfect venue for us. We wanted our friends and family to feel like they’d travelled to a destination wedding, without the jet lag! And that’s exactly what the hotel achieved effortlessly. (The 30 degree weather on the day helped too!)

The venue sells itself, but the team – especially Georgia – were the key reason we picked the Hythe Imperial. From day one, they were exceptional. They made the time and effort to get to know us as people, our likes and dislikes, and provided sound advice on the likes of seating arrangements and recommended suppliers. There was no big sales pitch – it was never needed, because their authenticity spoke volumes.

As a bride, it can be daunting, wondering if and how your vision will come to life on the day, but we never once doubted the team’s abilities and knowledge. Their passion for the work they do drives everything, and it shows. We trusted them implicitly with the biggest day of our lives.

As for the day itself, it went off without a hitch, and we would do it all again in a heartbeat. The dancefloor was packed until the end of the night, and friends spoke at length about the huge food portions for months!

The 10th June 2023 will forever be the best day of our lives because of the team at the Hythe Imperial, and we cannot wait to return for our first anniversary.
