We, at the Hythe Imperial Hotel, take the privacy of all visitors and guests very seriously and therefore set out in this policy our position regarding the use of cookies and protection of your personal data.

By personal data, we mean the data which could be used to identify you, including your name and contact details, and any related data which could be attributed to you. It may also include information about how you use our services.

Please note our employees’ personal data protection information can be requested from our HR department, as is not detailed within this policy.

The Hythe Imperial Hotel is dedicated to safeguarding the personal information under our remit and in developing a data protection regime that is effective, fit for purpose and demonstrates an understanding of, and appreciation for, the new GDP Regulation. Our preparation and objectives for GDPR compliance includes the development and implementation of new data protection rules, policies, procedures, controls and measures to ensure maximum and ongoing compliance. We use technical measures such as encryption and password protection to ensure your personal data is secure with us. In addition, we are updating our systems to be fully compliant and minimize any data breach risks. Not only by limiting the users’ access rights, but by training our employees, we are committed to keep your personal data secure.
