They are very Covid aware and very clean.

Wonderful experience. Safety measures in place that totally reassured our group with attentive staff and delightful food. This was a perfect evening to celebrate our friends 60th birthday. Plenty of distance between tables and other guests respectful of each others environment. Recommend this hotel if you are looking to have a break in safety.

Everything else was great. Hotel is spotless clean and the covid measures are the best one can hope for. Room was modern with air conditioning and everything essentials provided. Full English breakfast available.

This was only an overnight stay for us but was very impressed. Fabulous room. Really large. Well set up for coronavirus protection, felt very very safe. Hotel in fantastic setting-beach across the road. Had afternoon tea in gardens. Fabulous afternoon tea in amazing setting. Thanks to Ken for making it a lovely experience. All staff were extremely helpful and deserve praise for their level of service in these strange times. We would certainly stay again and recommend 100%

Excellent stay Covid-19 practice evident, all the measures put in place assured me that safety and cleanness was planned and implemented. It appears that all staff have had extra training for Covid awareness. The whole experience from check in, dining in and general stay was excellent.

Good breakfast. Our room with no exciting view but clean. Gym and swimming pool clean. Staff take good care of COVID safety instructions.

On arrival we were greeted with an apology of the wait and a complimentary upgrade on our room. Hotel is beautiful and bathroom was very clean and looked quite newly done. Hotel seemed very clean and measures were being met correctly, sanitizing room keys, pens, menus etc.

Glorious decor, welcoming staff and fantastic food, they also adheres to the social distancing very well.

We spent the weekend at Hythe imperial Hotel after the lockdown. We did not know what to expect. Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Hotel was extremely cleaned. We booked dinner at the hotel and must say we thought the Chef definitely was Michelin star ranking. Food delicious , desert absolutely luscious . Location is fabulous, very close to the station and just in front of the beach. I definitely go back again and will recommend anyone who wants to escape to the seaside. Thank you Hythe Imperial for this fantastic experience.

Thank you to the Staff and Management for a lovely weekend stay. The care and effort shown at what must be a difficult time for the hospitality industry was exceptional. Our sea view room was clean and welcoming. And our Afternoon Tea was delightful. We will definitely be returning.

Literally everything was superb. Amazing staff dealing with Covid professionally. Room was superb big clean and comfortable. Food was exceptional literally best meal ive had for a very long time. Breakfast superb. Will be back.

We love this hotel. There have been a few changes since our last visit due to the current situation but it has been well done. We loved the new outside garden where you can sit out on the benches and chairs and take in the lovely setting. The hotel was spotless. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had room service in the evening and the food was well presented and delicious. We look forward to our next visit that hopefully wont be too long.

Really nice hotel, well organised with social distancing, really clean and friendly staff, we would definitely come back again hopefully when the sun is shining!

The Hythe Imperial is just a brilliant place to stay, we will be back as soon as we possibly can. Liked everything about this Hotel was brilliant. At this very difficult time with the Covid 19 everyone made you feel at ease and able to enjoy your holiday to the full. The food is excellent and the Gluten Free option fantastic.Well done to all of the Staff.

I stayed at the Hythe last week and I am surprised at the negative comments on this sight. The hotel appears to be coping very well with the restrictions placed on them by the government guidelines. The staff were a delight, all positive and trying hard to ensure all guests enjoy their stay. I paid for a sea view room and it was worth the extra money. In these uncertain times I felt completely safe in their hands and enjoyed my stay. Check out the gardens, they are stunning! Well done Hythe Imperial I will be back!

I think you handled the social distancing brilliantly, drinks were amazing and staff were fantastic.

Five of us popped in for a cup of tea and sat outside in a purpose built area to comply with the new restrictions which was excellent – the service was excellent and reasonably priced for this type of establishment – I would definitely recommend.

Facilities are amazing even with this pandemic going on also the rooms are beautiful and the sea room view is a must wow ! Loved our stay staff so friendly and worth the trip.

Today we brought my elderly mother out to Sunday lunch at The Coast Restaurant (her first outing since lockdown). I feel I need to write to compliment you as we were very impressed at the way the new procedures have been implemented, we felt totally safe and relaxed. We observed that all staff were wearing masks, adhering to the 2 metre rule, checking we were ok with what they were doing. As people were leaving, we observed the tables and chairs all being sanitised thoroughly. The food and service was it’s usual excellent standard as we have come to expect from The restaurant. I highly recommend the hotel and restaurant, and anyone who is worried about hygiene in these strange times we’re living in, you’ll be fine here.

I cant help but love this place. We have stayed before and eaten in both restaurants and have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience but this time we decided to book an Afternoon Tea for my sisters 50th.
Yes we are just coming out of lockdown so two tables were booked.
What can I say! It has probably been the most amazing afternoon we have had in a long time. The staff couldn’t do more for us .We were sat at the end of the garden under a beautiful gazebo. Our lady who was looking after us ‘Chau’ was a brilliant hostess and she made sure our afternoon went without hitch.
This was a suprise 50th treat for my sisters 50th.
We had the weather, the beautiful surroundings, the family, and we were spoilt by the excellant food that was served.Just sandwich and cake you say? No gorgeous, tasty finger sandwiches and mini cakes that our party managed to devour completely albeit a morsel was left..
We arrived at 2pm we left at 6.30pm and we could have carried on.
What a fab venue, with fab food and fab staff. We love you Hythe Imperial and we will be seeing you again real soon

Have just returned home after a short break at this fab hotel (for the third year running!) and although the experience was different this time it was no less enjoyable. They have implemented excellent procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff and hand sanitiser is readily available at various places throughout the hotel. Room service was quick, efficient and delivered safely and the food was excellent. The introduction of a beer garden and afternoon tea on the lawn are great ideas so fingers crossed the weather is kinder than last week to enable these to be enjoyed to full effect. Somehow I managed to leave my phone charger behind but after contacting the hotel and speaking to Ellie (I think?) she is arranging for it to be returned to me at the cost of a small postage fee, once it has completed it’s quarantine period! Already looking forward to returning next year.

My friend and I were greeted with such a warm welcome as we arrived for our afternoon tea yesterday. Due to the inclement weather we were set up in a lovely room where the tables were perfectly spaced. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and made our experience relaxing and enjoyable.The afternoon tea was delicious and our teapots were replenished frequently. We will definitely be returning.

Every precaution taken by hotel and staff against covid. Room was spotless, dining tables very spread out and buffet breakfast served from behind a huge screen by staff in masks, gloves and visors.

Lovely hotel they have done brilliant with the social distance. Just great to have a night away and feel life is little normal again.

The staff were great and I felt like the hotel was clean it a very welcoming hotel which is why I go back each time .its nerve wracking to be going out at the moment but they made you feel like you were safe and clean .they have added an outside space for drinks which is nice the room was very spacious and the view was to die for.

We went for a weekend break when some of the Covid19 restrictions were still in place, therefore the hotel was providing a reduced service. Given those limitations, the staff were super helpful and you do feel ‘safe’ in the hotel. Excellent job!

Have stayed here many times before and it’s always good. They have had to adapt to new regimes but have done so admirably. All staff seem to have taken the changes on board and continue to provide a great personal service while maintaining good practice to instil a real feeling of safety. Would highly recommend. What a beautiful.hotel.full of character and the owners have clearly worked hard to keep it in its original character. Right on the sea front and perfect for a stop over before catching the eurotunnel. If I’d realised how lovely the hotel was, we’d have arrived earlier in the day. The hotel is working really hard to mitigate problems caused by covid. Well done to all the staff. I can’t wait to come back!

Hythe Imperial have got a good set of procedures for Covid management, so felt pretty safe from risk of infection.. Comfortable room. Restaurant was very good, food excellent. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel location is excellent, right on the sea front. Hotel very good at catering for a gluten-free guest. All other staff unfailingly courteous and helpful. Would definitely return.

Lovely building, sea view, nice clean room and helpful staff The hotel had only been open a few days since the covid shut down and was doing a good job protecting its staff and guests. It did feel a little strange eating supper in the bar with all the tables seperated by over 2m and the perspex partition at the bar but we have to get used to this. The meal itself was very good for bar food.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Location excellent. Food was fantastic, I had afternoon tea, dinner, breakfast, Sunday lunch. Lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. It’s wasn’t cheap, but you pay for quality and that what you get here. There was nothing not to like, even with Covid measures, which was managed excellently.

A lovely warm welcome. Felt very safe with social distancing measures in place. Great location on the beach. Didn’t have breakfast as thought expensive at £15.95 each on top of room rate. Apart from that excellent – wished we could have stayed longer. I asked for a sea view which was accommodated, so big tick there!! Will be back.

A deceptively challenging course which is great for improving your short game. It is a unique and picturesque course set in a great position between the sea and canal.

As a new Mr & Mrs we cannot thank the staff and wedding consultant enough for the smooth running of our whole wedding day. We were really looked after and cannot fault the toastmaster Russ who was fantastic in organising the wedding guests and the shift from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast to the evening. Our suite for the night was the Seabrook and was stunning, so luxurious and comfortable. We plan to return on our anniversary in the years to come!
